Immanuel Community Church wants people to have a sense feeling of "belonging" through every interaction. We used warm colors and soft, open design to help draw people into the culture and identity of this church.
Immanuel Community Church was founded in 1965 by a small group of charter members. The church has deep roots in Fort Collins, Colorado, having started several other churches in the area and participating in many community projects over the years. Their mission, which was revised in 2016, is all about giving people a place that they belong.
Creating a new identity that captures the new mission of the church. Their website had been focused inwardly, towards their members, but the desire was to move towards a more progressive, visitor-centric approach to their web presence.
The homepage opens with some videos, representing the leadership's desire for people to stop wandering and find their home church. The warm colors and open design are meant to comfort visitors and guide them towards deeper interaction. The churches service times, location and beliefs are put in the spotlight, actionable information.

Content delivery, event updates and online giving were at the top of their list. We integrated their existing systems into the website using dynamic embed methods that automatically update.
The website is fully responsive, with the video on the homepage being replaced by an image. The navigation is the same across all screen sizes for continuity and to feature the large hero images.
